ካርቦን ፐሮጀክት

የካርበን ፕሮጀክት ደን

በዞናችን ውስጥ ከሚገኙ ቱሪስት መስህብ ቦታዎች መካከል አንዱ ሲሆን የሚገኘው በሁምቦ ወረዳ በሰባቱ ቀበሌያት አዋሳኝና ኩታ ገጠም በሆነ መሬት ላይ የሚገኝ የደን ህይወት ጥበቃና ልማት ቦታ ወይም መስህብ ተብሎ ይጠራል፡፡

ካርበን ፕሮጀክት በወላይታ ዞን በሀምቦ ወረዳ በስተምስራቅ በኩል ሰባቱ ቀበሌያት እነዚህም ሆብቻ ባዳ፣ሆብቻ ቦንጎታ፣ቦላ ዋንቼ፣ቦሣ ዋንቼ፣አበያ ሾያ፣አበላ ሎንገና እና ጋፋታ ቀበሌያት አዋሳኝ በሆነው ስፍራ ስፋቱ 2728 ሄ/ር የነበረውን የተፈጥሮ ደን በመንከባከብና አዲስ በመትከል አከባቢውን ኅብረተሰብና በአከባቢው ካለው መንግስታዊ ካልሆነ ድርጅት ወርልድ ቪዥን ጋር በመሆን የኅብረተሰብ አሳታፊና የአከባቢ ልማት ጥበቃ ሥራ በሰፊው በማከናወን በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ የካርበን ልቀት ለመቀነስ በተያዘው ፕሮግራም ከታቀፋት ፕሮጀክቶች አንዱና ዋነኛው ነው፡፡

ሁምቦ ካርበን ፕሮጀክት ደን የሚገኘው ከአዲስ አበባ በ432 ኪ.ሜ፣ከሐዋሳ ከተማ በ196ኪ.ሜ ከዞን ርዕሰ ከተማ ሶዶ በ42 ኪ.ሜና ከወረዳው ከተማ ጠበላ በ24 ኪ.ሜ ርቀት ይገኛል፡፡…

Mount Damota

Damota mountain is one of the most exciting and suitable mountains to look over. Mount Damota is found in wolaita zone sodo zuria woreda at a distance of 12 k.m away from the town of sodo to the North . This mountain is referred to as roof and water tower of wolaita and is 3000 meter, above sea level. The place is the source of numerous tourist attraction and also historical place for the kingdom of Wolaita. During the rainy season, the mountain is covered with snow and from the top of the mountain, one can have  a wonderful view of the whole region of wolaita.

አባላ ጮካሬ

Abala chokare( Bilbo HotSpring)

This beautiful hotspring is situated in Humbo Woreda Abela mareka kebele.

This circle shaped hot spring covers wide areas and has an amazing outlook with its rising smoke and boiled bubbles which come from deep inside the ground.

The water vapor of this hot sparing can be seen from the distant before you arrive at

the place. Many local people and tourists use this hotspring for healing illness and for recreational bathing.

Natural Bridge

This naturally gifted bridge  is found in wolita zone offa woreda at a distance of 5 k.m from wereda town Gesuba and 29 k.m from zonal administrative town, sodo .

The bridge which was made naturally from one  big stone lying over the flowing river Manisa and over which people go here and there.

Visiting this naturally designed bridge is really wonderful, so that many tourists visit it.
